Each is powder-coated in a soft sand color with a shimmer that adds sophistication. Accentuated by cheerful spring green and vibrant magenta from their logo, they feature butterflies and bees in a design provided by the gardens.     Presenting “Spinning Blocks” – Our latest co Presenting “Spinning Blocks” – Our latest commission for the Shops at Village District, an upscale lifestyle center in Raleigh, NC.  Crafted to bring excitement and interactivity to the space, this artwork consists of two pieces with which viewers can interact.   What makes the sculptures truly captivating is the use of multi-colored mirrored acrylic panels covering each block. The result? A mesmerizing display that is both fun and reflective as the blocks spin. To add a touch of practicality, some blocks include frames, providing the property with a versatile canvas to showcase promotional material or intriguing images. And for that personalized touch, a few blocks proudly display the center’s logo, seamlessly blending brand identity with artistic expression. I’m thrilled to contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of this outdoor lifestyle center, turning it into a dynamic space where art meets commerce. I am so honored to have my sculpture installed in such a beloved and beautiful space! 100% of any donations go to The Sunken Gardens Forever Foundation which directly supports Sunken Gardens and preserves its legacy as a historic landmark. I have been involved with this foundation for several years and in that time we have contributed to the newly completed Animal Care Center and History Center, and purchased additional aviaries, just to name a few! I invite you all to visit the Sunken Gardens to experience one of our city’s true gems and to check out my latest sculpture.     Introducing “Driftwood Reef”: A Fusion of Natu Introducing “Driftwood Reef”: A Fusion of Nature and Metal Excited to share a unique commission - a collaboration with a valued collector! For the first time, I’ve intertwined natural driftwood into my metal sculpture, creating a harmonious blend of the organic and hand crafted. My client was able to provide a fabric sample from her bedspread, and I took inspiration from both its colors and shapes to create a coral reef sculpture that complements her space. The challenge and charm of this project was in seamlessly integrating the aluminum components into the delicate wood’s structure. A cherished piece of driftwood from my personal collection had finally found its place!
