Project G.O.A.T 2019

Project Details

Amazing Project!

Last month I got one of the most amusing and exciting art requests – “My friend is painting a goat, she needs metal wings, would you be interested?” Of course!! After hearing about the project I was more than excited to collaborate with Alicia Compos Art on her project helping with the fight against human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
Project G.O.A.T. is an art-based awareness and fundraising campaign representing the Global Offensive Against Trafficking.
Throughout the second half of 2019 through early 2020, 50 GOATS will be cast by artist Scott Joseph Moore of Moore Art Expressions and painted by numerous prominent and emerging artists.
This month, a public exhibition will be held where the first 50 completed GOATs will be on display in a single location. Following that exhibition, and for the remainder of 2020, those initial GOATs will be sponsored and displayed by businesses and individuals throughout the Tampa Bay area, while additional GOATs will be cast and painted. All this will lead to the Project GOAT Gala on Saturday, February 26th-Super Bowl Weekend in Tampa, where all the goats will be auctioned, with funds going to organizations on the front lines of the fight against human trafficking and sexual exploitation of children
