Project Details
Inspired by a satellite photo of the mouths of the Irrawaddy River, “Tributaries” is constructed from alternating layers of intricately cut steel and sheets of acrylic. The layers appear to float on top of one another, enhancing the feeling of depth. Each metal layer has been allowed to individually develop its own finish and patina naturally.
